This course is designed for scuba divers who are looking for preventing and managing incidents underwater. It will help you practice your problem solving skills and become a better dive buddy.

Scuba divers who have successfully completed the PADI Rescue Diver course usually say about these sessions that they were extremely challenging and very awarding.

How to Qualify for the PADI Rescue Diver Course

PADI (Junior) Adventure Divers having 12 years old at least and have passed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive can enroll in the Rescue Diver course. It is also required to attend the Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.

How to Become a Rescue Diver

Learn to think like a rescue diver through self-study and practicing scuba skills with an instructor. All PADI courses are flexible and focused on mastering skills. You’ll practice the key rescue skills and then demonstrate them in open water.

With the online learning, you can easily fit scuba lessons into your busy schedule. Complete the knowledge development part of your course at any time in any place that suits you.

Work at your own pace, either on or off-line, using your mobile or computer. In case of having any question or for in-water training, communicate with your instructor.

eLearning time commitment: 8-12 hours

Step 2

With Your Instructor

ADDITIONAL COST: Your dive shop will charge for training and any gear you need to rent.

You will get a lot of fun in the water training sessions. You will also practice role-playing for some scenarios with other students and your instructor to know the proper way to handle them, such as a leg cramp and assisting a tired diver.

Total time commitment: This will take 4-7 days.
