What is Freediving?

Many people think that freediving and snorkeling are the same (except that in freediving you go deeper), they surely need to think again. Freediving is considered a special type of diving in which you explore the underwater world in a different way.

In a Freediving course, the freediving instructor will help you ingrain your skills and handle emergencies professionally. And as a little experienced freediver, you will not only learn many expert techniques that shall help you increase depth and time underwater, but also how to enhance your buddy and personal-related safety skills.

Your Way through Freediving as a Diver

Your title is determined depending on how much you learn about freediving to:

• Basic Freediver

You are a basic Freediver when you have a knowledge on freediving principles and only focus on practicing the techniques of breath holding in a pool or a site of confined water.

• Freediver

Freediver is a title which also given to the beginners. You are a freediver when you take your first step to discover the reason behind the popularity of freediving and have gone deep diving to explore what beneath the waves. You don’t need a previous freediving course to become a freediver.

• Advanced Freediver

You become an advanced Freediver when you continue your education allowing to your freediving skills to be improved and progress slowly on learning how your body performing during apnea.

• Master Freediver

A master freediver is an advanced Freediver who want to be among the Elite by advancing in freediving levels. As a master freediver, you should have learned how to bring your free immersion, static apnea, dynamic apnea and constant weight skills up to the next level.

Your Way through Freediving as an Instructor

After becoming an experience freediver, you can now work your way up to becoming a diving instructor:

• Freediver Instructor

You can turn your freediving passion into a profession by the Freediver Instructor course. This course is specialty for avid freedivers who spends most of his time thinking about freediving and like to share almost all of details of their adventures.

• Advanced Freediver Instructor

When you become a Freediver Instructor from PADI or any other organizations, you can qualify for the Advanced Freediver Instructor rating from PADI.

• Master Freediver Instructor

After becoming a Freediver Instructor from PADI or any other organizations you can qualify for the PADI Master Freediver Instructor rating.

• Freediver Instructor Trainer

Becoming a PADI Freediver Instructor Trainer means you are an experienced PADI Master Freediver Instructor who decided to be among elite group of professionals for the aim of developing a new generation of PADI Freediver Instructors.
