How to Qualify for the PADI Rescue Diver Course
PADI (Junior) Adventure Divers having 12 years old at least and have passed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive can enroll in the Rescue Diver course. It is also required to attend the Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.

How to Become a Rescue Diver

Learn to think like a rescue diver through self-study and practicing scuba skills with an instructor. All PADI courses are flexible and focused on mastering skills. You’ll practice the key rescue skills and then demonstrate them in open water.

With Your Instructor
ADDITIONAL COST: Your dive shop will charge for training and any gear you need to rent.
You will get a lot of fun in the water training sessions. You will also practice role-playing for some scenarios with other students and your instructor to know the proper way to handle them, such as a leg cramp and assisting a tired diver.
Total time commitment: This will take 4-7 days.
