Completing the PADI Rescue Diver Course

Divers describe this course as the most challenging one, yet most rewarding course – for good reason. The practical part of the course focuses on a number of rescue scenarios involving skills to assist responsive or non-responsive divers, both on the surface and underwater.

Your PADI scuba Instructor will teach you how to become a better dive buddy by role playing emergency situations. You’ll sharpen your problem solving skills until they become your second nature, including:

• How to recognize and manage stress in other divers.
• How to rescue a panicked/unresponsive diver.
• The procedures of missing diver.
• Management of emergency equipment.
• First Aid and injury treatment.
